To promote to the small, medium industries and
handicraft, state govt. office of
District Industries is working. RIICO & Khadi gramodyog office is also working in same building. This
office provides land to industries for which six RIICO industrial area is
working in Tonk , Newai, Malpura & Deoli Tehsil and about 600 acre land is acquired for industries
purpose.
District
industries office have allotted 750 plots on which 474 industries are setup.
Tonk District is industrially
backward but some industries are working in which Rs. 131 Crore & 62 Lacs are invested and 1690 persons
are employed into these industries. Details of some industries are as below.

district. Based on Slate stone some other industries like quartz grinding PCC
Poles, RCC Pipes are working.
Tomato catchup , woolen carpet, Readymade garments,
animal beeds, masala, engineering work, tire retrading , washing shop
industries are developing.

Export items : Slate stone
& state tiles are exported from the district. In addition to this Cotton
Durrih, Galicha, Namda, Readymade garment, Bal-bearing also export to other
countries.
